Holiday Get Togethers

Skip the boring holiday party and throw an event where you can unleash your creativity all from the comfort of your own home. The holidays are always a great time to get together, and now we have a class for each season! Create your own little home decor alongside your friends with Catherine from Rod and Needle Studios.

Easter Eggs

Create a wool egg, perfect for an essential oil diffuser or for a simple decoration to display during the spring season. Participants will be guided through shaping core wool into an egg shape and then the basics of adding color to create your own special Easter egg. Besides wool, a needle and felting mat, each participant will also receive a wooden display for their egg. Extra displays, in case a participant makes more than one egg, will be available for purchase.

Spooky Ghosts

Have a spooky, fun time creating a playful ghost mounted on a base holding a sweet little trick-or-treat parcel. Participants will learn how to make a basic shape with core wool, then add little embellishments. Participants will be provided wool, a needle and foam mats for felting. Extra displays will be available for purchase if participants create more than one ghost.

Holiday Ornament

This classic class is perfect for a holiday season get together with friends and family. Creativity can be unleashed as you felt an ornament of your design. In this class, participants will be shown how to make the basic ornament shape and shown how to apply colors to create their own design on the ornament. Participants will be provided with wool, a needle, a foam felting mat and ribbon or string to hang the ornament.
